Synergy with intense sweeteners

MALTISORB® maltitol is a bulk sweetener which can be used alone in most sugar-free applications thanks to a high sweetening power close to that of sugar.

When increased sweetness is desired, MALTISORB® maltitol also offers good synergy with intense sweeteners and requires a smaller dosage than polyols that are less sweet.

Cooling effect

MALTISORB® maltitol has a low cooling effect compared with other polyols, but slightly higher than that of sugar.
